In the general and mid-term elections, 9,85 employees were on duty, including 8 election officers, 4 assistant election officers and 4,98 polling staff. In the by-elections, six staff members were on duty, including 18 election officers, 12 assistant election officers and 203 polling staff. The police had put in place tight security measures to prevent any untoward incident during the election. About 151 police personnel were on duty during the election.
